By reading codes embedded in the abutment’s surface with a laser, the doctor can use CAD/CAM software to create a virtual abutment. Once the design is complete, the abutment is milled from a solid pieceof titanium alloy, creating an incredibly precise abutment on which an exceptional restoration can be manufactured.
